This exciting, growing collection is the logical extension of founder Martin Rose's commitment to exploration of new design motifs, materials and methods. He placed great emphasis on such activity as evidenced by his introduction of Art Deco metalwork. Interestingly, he was one of the first to forge aluminum and to use materials such as Monel for decorative purposes. Today, we are similarly committed to nurturing current design and processes.

Our contemporary collection stresses the underlying principles of excellence of design and craftsmanship while exploring fresh concepts.

The recent revitalization of our Artist-in-Residency program has provided much inspiration for such work. Stephen Yusko, one of our country's most talented artists, has designed the pieces which introduce this program.
